According to Bold.dk, Sønderjyske has sold defender Daniel Grétarsson to AGF.

Farzam Abolhosseini reports that AGF is buying Daniel Leo Gretarsson from Sønderjyske. The clubs have reached an agreement on a sale at around one million euro, 7.5 million kroner. Daniel Leo Gretarsson is undergoing a medical examination in Aarhus, where he will receive a three-year contract.

AGF recently attempted to purchase Daníel Leó Grétarsson from Sønderjyske, submitting a bid for the 30-year-old Icelandic centre-back. The offer was for half a million euros, equivalent to almost four million Danish kroner, but was rejected by Sønderjyske. There have been no further negotiations between the clubs since the bid was turned down. Grétarsson, who has 31 caps for Iceland, joined Sønderjyske in July 2023. He is under contract until June 30, 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated at €450k.
