Daniel Graovac, who became a free agent after a single season with FCSB, agreed to join Rapid. The club owned by Dan Șucu competed with the Cluj-based teams CFR and FC Universitatea for the 32-year-old centre-back. Rapid secured the transfer by making the best offer to the Bosnian. The defender is valued at 350,000 euros by specialized websites. Mihai Stoica of FCSB had recently told Prima Sport that he regretted his club not extending Graovac's contract, describing him as a good footballer. Graovac, who joined FCSB in July 2025, made 19 appearances in the SuperLiga last season and has three caps for Bosnia-Herzegovina.
