Crystal Palace has announced that Daichi Kamada's contract has been extended until 2027. Steve Parish stated that Daichi Kamada chose to reject many offers to extend his stay in South London.

Palace believe their Conference League victory and subsequent qualification to the Europa League could be sufficient to convince 29-year-old Japanese attacking midfielder Daichi Kamada to sign a new deal, but there have been no developments on this subject. He is one of the higher-paid players at Selhurst Park and would need to be given a new contract with improved financial terms to stay. Kamada joined the club in July 2024 and has earned 49 caps for Japan, scoring 12 goals. In the 2025/2026 Premier League season, he made 28 appearances and provided one assist. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €10.00m, and clubs such as AC Milan and Beşiktaş have been linked with him.
