RC Lens is reportedly seeking a replacement for Mamadou Sangaré, who is expected to be transferred to Brentford. While the club is considering several players, journalist Fabrizio Romano has stated that Lens is interested in Cristian Cásseres Jr., a 26-year-old central midfielder from Toulouse. With one year remaining on his contract with Toulouse FC, the Venezuelan international has 48 caps and one goal for his country and could be available for a fee of less than 10 million euros. Cásseres Jr. joined Toulouse in July 2023 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €9.00m.
