Manchester City could loan Claudio Echeverri to Bahia, a sister club in the City Football Group, as a result of Girona's relegation. The 20-year-old Argentinian attacking midfielder joined Manchester City from River Plate in January 2024 for a reported €14.5 million and his contract is valid until 2028. During the 2025/2026 season at Girona, he made 17 appearances, scored one goal, and provided one assist.
