Following constant speculation about Claudio Braga leaving Hearts during the summer transfer window, Christophe Berra stated he is sure there was interest in him. Berra also said that Braga did not move for some reason, speculating that perhaps clubs did not meet Hearts' expectations or the player was not interested in going where he possibly had opportunities. It is stated that Braga remained at Hearts beyond the summer transfer window and is part of their team until at least the January transfer window. Berra further commented that if an opportunity comes, Braga will listen to it, adding that this is normal.

It is not certain that Cláudio Braga will continue at the British club, as he is generating a lot of interest. A coach expressed apprehension, stating that Braga is a good player. The coach also said that they are always a little nervous during a transfer window because they do not know if he will stay or leave. He added that the only thing the club can do is to be prepared for that eventuality, but that he hopes to continue working with him in September.

Claudio Braga has declared that he is fully a Hearts player amid transfer interest this summer. With speculation ongoing due to his form, his agents are dealing with his future should any club meet the £8million asking price. Braga stated that he cannot focus on the interest while he is at Hearts. He said that he is a Hearts player and that is all people need to know and all he needs to feel. Braga also said that whether there is interest or not is something that he cannot control or focus on.

Hearts have a strong desire to retain Claudio Braga following Shankland's exit, and it appears that Braga is not eager to leave.
