According to Alan Nixon via Patreon, Lincoln City and Sheffield United are both considering a potential January move for Ciaron Brown, a 28-year-old defender for Oxford United and Northern Ireland. Lincoln are reportedly interested in the player following their steady start in the Championship. Sheffield United, managed by former Oxford boss Chris Wilder, are also said to be monitoring him as a potential bargain addition. The interest from the clubs comes as it is suggested that Brown's contract is set to expire in June. The centre-back joined his current club in July 2022, has 33 caps and 2 goals for Northern Ireland, and holds a market value of €1.50m according to Transfermarkt.
