Christos Mandas leaving Lazio?

According to Tuttomercato, Christos Mandas is the second-choice goalkeeper behind Provedel. The report states that Lazio cannot afford to keep him, as he is valued at over 10 million euros. Therefore, Mandas is on the market and, unless there are surprises, will leave Rome in January.

According to Tuttomercato, when asked if he was considering a loan for more playing time, goalkeeper Christos Mandas stated that he has not spoken with the club. Mandas said he is focused on his work and awaiting his opportunity, adding that this is the only way for him to improve. He also stated that he has not spoken with anyone and does not want to disrupt the good atmosphere, as he wants to help the team.

Lazio is asking for around 15 million euros for Christos Mandas, according to Tuttomercato. The sale would be a net capital gain, a circumstance that may allow the Biancocelesti to accept a slightly lower amount.

According to Tuttomercato, Lazio wants to sell Mandas only on a permanent basis.

Tuttomercato reports that the potential transfer of Mandas is uncertain because Lazio could be subject to a partial block in January. The report also states that several sales would be necessary to avoid another block in summer 2026.

Tuttomercato reports that the biancoceleste club is asking for over 15 million euros for Mandas. However, it may not be easy to receive that amount for a player who has not been on the field for six months. It is considered more plausible that offers will be close to ten million euros, with the Premier League being a potential next destination for Mandas.

Mandas's agent, Diego Tavano, confirmed the Greek goalkeeper could leave Lazio in January due to a lack of playing time. Tavano revealed he is already in contact with some clubs interested in Mandas. The goalkeeper has a contract with Lazio until 2029. Tavano stated that they will evaluate various options in January, but not at the prices from a year ago.

Tuttomercato reports on the possible departures of key players from the club, with Mandas, Noslin, Isaksen, and Tavares listed among them. All are being evaluated with a view to capital gains.

Tuttomercato reports that if an offer close to 15 million euros arrives for the Greek goalkeeper from Lazio, the club would sell him without hesitation.

According to Tuttomercato, Christos Mandas seems likely to leave his club in the January transfer window. Lazio aims to collect around 20 million euros from the operation, which would guarantee liquidity and allow the club to operate in the January market with a zero balance, while also lowering the risk of a new summer block.

Tuttomercato reports that as part of Lazio's strategic planning for their goalkeeper lineup, Fabiani and Sarri have identified finding a deputy for Provedel as a priority in case of Mandas' departure.

Lazio would consider selling Mandas to generate a significant profit compared to the 800,000 euros spent to acquire him from Ofi Creta three years ago. Sacrificing the second goalkeeper is seen as an acceptable risk for the club, although there is a strong belief in his potential at Formello.

Christos Mandas, despite renewing his contract until 2029, might leave Lazio. His future is uncertain, especially with the potential return of Provedel as the main goalkeeper. Lazio is open to selling Mandas if a significant offer of around 20 million euros comes in.

CalcioMercato reports on the potential departure of Mandas from Lazio amid transfer speculations. Mandas could leave Lazio due to having more market value than Provedel and being lower in the coach's preferences. The decision of whether it will be a loan or permanent transfer is yet to be made. Mandas is unlikely to accept being a backup again after securing a starting position last season.

Christos Mandas, the Greek goalkeeper born in 2001, has emerged as a crucial player for Lazio, taking over from Provedel as the primary goalkeeper during the latter part of the season. Nevertheless, with the return of coach Sarri, it appears that the hierarchy is likely to be reversed once more, as Sarri is known to have confidence in the abilities of Provedel, the former Spezia player. Despite his youth, Mandas has accumulated considerable experience in Italy and Europe. Lazio is keen to make the most of their 2023 investment when they acquired him from Ofi Creta for 700,000 euros. Mandas' market value has risen, and Lazio now values him at a minimum of 20 million euros. Should a suitable offer arise, Lazio might contemplate selling him to fund their summer transfer activities. At present, there are interested parties, although no concrete offers have been made yet.

Lazio aims to develop the 22-year-old Greek player for the future, as he challenges Provedel and is eager to play as a starter in Europe.

Mandas is being considered for a potential transfer if no solution is found for Pedro or Hysaj's situation.

The player is strong and had been followed by more than one company. In Italy, he had many interests but Lazio was the fastest and believed in him a lot. Initially, they thought of returning him to OFI Creta on loan, then Sarri decided to keep him. He is a talent and has established himself. The agent confirms that they will have to meet again to review a contract made quite quickly, from third goalkeeper. But the player is ready, they will certainly have to talk but there are also interests from abroad but they will talk about it with Lazio.

In summer, Lazio will look for a loan arrangement for Mandas. They want him to play at good levels (not less than a high Serie B) to allow him to make mistakes while continuing to learn. A two-year loan is not even excluded, to ensure that whoever will take him really counts on him.
