Aston Villa are monitoring the situation of Fiorentina's 22-year-old Italian midfielder, Cher Ndour. Manager Unai Emery considers him a dynamic option who could add flexibility. The club is in competition with Liverpool, who are also monitoring the player, as well as Serie A sides Inter and Juventus. Manchester United have also previously been connected with an interest in him. Formal offers have not yet been submitted, as the clubs are in a stage of monitoring and analysis. Fiorentina rejected initial approaches during the summer and insisted that Ndour should continue his development in Florence. His market value is estimated to be €20M, but it is reported that Fiorentina are demanding €30–35M. This position has reduced the immediacy of negotiations, but potential squad changes could renew interest from clubs such as Aston Villa and Liverpool, for whom the asking price is considered affordable. Ndour, who has two caps for Italy, joined Fiorentina from Paris Saint Germain in February 2025 for a fee of €5.0 million, and his contract runs until 2029.
