Cezary Miszta, the 23-year-old Polish goalkeeper from Rio Ave, is viewed as the ideal choice to partner with the Greek keeper. Miszta has been on the Olympiacos list since January, but the transfer did not proceed at that time. The player became the primary choice for Rio Ave from the middle of the season, but it is not yet known if or when Olympiacos will pursue their interest in him. Miszta joined the Portuguese club in July 2024 and has a contract until June 2027. He is a Poland U21 international with 8 caps, and according to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €3.00m.
