TYC reports that César Ibáñez has been involved in transfer discussions with several clubs. César Ibáñez received a formal offer from Independiente which was not successful. Over various transfer windows, the player also received unsuccessful formal proposals from Tigre, Argentinos Juniors, and Talleres de Córdoba. More recently, in mid-June 2026, Racing became interested in signing him as a replacement for Gabriel Rojas, but that operation was also not successful.
