The young striker, trained at Atlético de Madrid, arrives in Vitoria-Gasteiz after establishing himself as one of the most promising strikers in national football.

Carlos Martín will be loaned to Deportivo Alavés for the upcoming season. The agreement was reached on August 17, 2024. Martín is a promising young forward from Atlético de Madrid's academy. Last season, he played for Mirandés in Segunda División, scoring 15 goals in 40 matches.

Carlos Martín was absent from Atlético de Madrid's training session with permission from the club to resolve his future and finalize an agreement with Deportivo Alavés. He recently extended his contract with Atlético de Madrid until 2029, and the initial plan was to loan him to a Primera División team after the renewal. Last season, he was loaned to Mirandés, where he was one of the top scorers and helped the team avoid relegation.
