Spanish defender Carlos Gimenez has joined PAOK from Atletico Madrid on a loan agreement that includes a purchase option. The 23-year-old right-back, who can also play as a centre-back, was reportedly recommended by PAOK B's coach, Daniel Ponz. The loan is scheduled to last until June 2026, and Gimenez will immediately join the club's second team. The player has previous experience with Atletico Madrid's B team and has also played in the Segunda Division with Levante. This season, he has made three appearances in Spain's third tier. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is currently estimated at €200k.
