Carlos Dotor leaving Celta de Vigo?

Celta and Málaga CF reached an agreement for midfielder Carlos Dotor to play on loan at the Andalusian club for the 2025-26 season. Dotor joined Celta in the summer of 2023 from Real Madrid Castilla as a future prospect but has not had much prominence at the club. Last season, he was loaned to Real Oviedo before moving to Sporting de Gijón in the winter transfer window to seek more playing time.

Celta de Vigo wants to offload Carlos Dotor this summer. Despite his struggles at Real Oviedo and Sporting de Gijón, Málaga CF is interested in him. Celta plans to send him abroad, but Dotor prefers to stay in Spain. He is negotiating his contract termination to join Málaga freely and feels it's better to drop a category to regain importance.

Carlos Dotor has reached an agreement to join Sporting de Gijón on loan from Celta, once his exit from Oviedo is finalized. The Sporting club is accelerating its market activities, aiming to finalize its transfer market with the addition of both Nico Serrano and Carlos Dotor.

Carlos Dotor is expected to switch teams in the upcoming winter transfer window. He was loaned to Oviedo from Celta last August, but has not been playing regularly under coach Javi Calleja. Oviedo has informed Celta that they do not intend to keep Dotor, and Celta has consented to allow Oviedo to seek a new club for him in January. Marco Garcés, Celta's director of football, acknowledged that Oviedo had initiated discussions about finding another team for Dotor, and confirmed that Celta was open to this arrangement.

Real Oviedo and Celta de Vigo have agreed on the loan of midfielder Carlos Dotor, who will play for the Carbayón club in the 24/25 season after not having much prominence in his first season in the First Division.

Real Oviedo has inquired about Carlos Dotor.
