The Athletic has reported that Caleb Wiley, Chelsea's 21-year-old United States international, is ready for another loan spell with an EFL side. It has been suggested that West Ham United, a Championship club, should pursue him. This suggestion is based on their current left-back, El Hadji Malick Diouf, being in the process of leaving amid interest from Brentford. Diouf's departure would leave academy graduate Ollie Scarles as the only natural replacement, and Wiley is considered to have more senior experience than the current options at the London Stadium. Wiley has 3 caps for the United States, joined Chelsea in July 2024, and is under contract until 2030. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €8.00m.
