Caleb Yirenkyi Transfer from Nordsjælland to Galatasaray

Following a shift in their transfer strategy towards younger players with high potential, Galatasaray has prioritized signing Caleb Yirenkyi. The 20-year-old Ghanaian international, who plays for Nordsjaelland, has attracted interest from several European clubs due to his athleticism and two-way play. Nordsjaelland's asking price is approximately 20 million Euro, and Galatasaray is exploring different payment structures, such as a loan with a purchase option or performance-based bonuses, to lower the cost. It is reported that the player is open to joining a big club like Galatasaray and considers the prospect of Champions League football an important advantage. It is said that Manager Okan Buruk specifically wants Yirenkyi for the tempo and aggression he would bring to the midfield. Galatasaray is increasing its contacts with both the club and the player this week, with the goal of making progress on a transfer that the management considers an investment for the future. Yirenkyi joined the Danish club in February 2025, is under contract until June 2030, and has a current Transfermarkt valuation of €6.00m. In the 2025/2026 Superliga season, the eight-cap Ghana international has scored one goal and provided four assists in 17 appearances. Other clubs linked with him include Brighton & Hove Albion, Arsenal, and AFC Bournemouth.
