Sunderland are monitoring Genoa's 22-year-old defender Brooke Norton-Cuffy as they search for defensive reinforcements ahead of their return to European competition. The England Under-21 international, who has 14 caps for the side, is also being tracked by Fulham, while Everton are reportedly in the leading position after holding recent discussions for the defender. Norton-Cuffy, who joined Genoa in August 2024 and has a contract until June 2029, is said to be open to returning to the Premier League, and Genoa are prepared to sell him this summer for a valuation of approximately €20million (£17m). In the 2025/2026 Serie A season, he made 41 appearances, scoring two goals and providing one assist. His current Transfermarkt valuation is €15.00m.
