Blackburn Rovers has expressed a strong interest in acquiring Brian De Keersmaecker, the captain of Heracles Almelo, as they aim to bolster their squad with the Belgian midfielder. According to De Telegraaf, which cites English sources, Heracles is willing to engage in transfer discussions but is demanding a substantial transfer fee for the player. De Keersmaecker, who is 25 years old, has been a pivotal player for Heracles since joining from FC Eindhoven two years ago for 400,000 euros. His contract with Heracles extends until mid-2028, and he has made seventy appearances, scoring seven goals and providing six assists during his tenure. Blackburn Rovers, however, is not the only club interested; Oxford United, another Championship team, is also eager to sign De Keersmaecker.
