Brent Gabriël has joined Zulte Waregem from Lokeren-Temse. The 26-year-old goalkeeper has agreed to a contract that will keep him at the club until 2028, where he will compete with Ennio van der Gouw. Gabriël is recognized as one of the top goalkeepers in the Challenger Pro League, having impressed with his performances at Lokeren-Temse, where he achieved eleven clean sheets in 34 matches last season. As a youth product of Club Brugge, Gabriël had also played for Waasland-Beveren, FCV Dender, and KV Oostende before securing his position as a first-choice goalkeeper. Zulte Waregem, aiming to strengthen their squad for their return to the Jupiler Pro League, considers Gabriël a valuable addition, highlighting his strong personality and the absence of weak points as significant qualities.
