Southampton is one of three Championship clubs showing interest in Tondela's 24-year-old Colombian defender, Brayan Medina. It is reported that Wolves and Birmingham City are also considering moves for the player. All three English clubs are described as being open to making a move during the final days of the transfer window. While Medina is attracting English interest, there is no mention of any negotiations being underway with Tondela, nor has a bid been made or an asking price set. Medina has one cap for Colombia's U23 team, joined Tondela in July 2025, and has a contract with the club until 2030. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3.00m.
