Hungarian defender Botond Balogh is on the verge of securing a loan move to Kocaelispor, a Turkish Super Lig team located in Izmit. This transfer is still feasible because the Turkish transfer window is open until September 12. Born in 2002, Balogh has played 73 games for Parma. Sky Sport reported that transfer negotiations are currently in progress. Parma is eager to complete this transfer as part of their summer exit strategy, having missed the chance to sell Balogh before the Italian transfer window closed on September 1. Balogh's contract with Parma runs until June 30, 2027, and Transfermarkt estimates his value at €2.40m. Additionally, Cremonese had shown interest in the defender.
