Billal Brahimi Transfer from Nice to Santos
Billal Brahimi, aged 25, has terminated his contract with OGC Nice after returning from a loan at Saint-Trond. Globo reports, and it is confirmed, that Brahimi arrived in Brazil to undergo a medical in São Paulo ahead of joining Santos. He is expected to sign a one-and-a-half-year contract, until December 2026, unless there is a last-minute change.
Algerian winger Billal Brahimi is in talks to join Santos, having been offered to the club as a free agent following the termination of his contract with Nice. ESPN has reported that the 25-year-old has already settled on salary terms with the Brazilian side, with both parties now negotiating a deal that would last until the end of 2026. Football executive Alexandre Mattos is spearheading the discussions and has meetings scheduled with the player's agents to progress the transfer. Brahimi, who spent last season on loan at Sint-Truiden in Belgium, also received a proposal from Major League Soccer but is reportedly enticed by the project at Santos and the chance to play with Neymar. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.80m.
