AEK Athens is interested in signing Ghanaian winger Bernard Tekpetey from Ludogorets. According to sources close to the player, Tekpetey is a target for the Greek club, and the club hopes to sign him when the summer transfer window opens. The 28-year-old also holds Bulgarian citizenship. AEK's coach, Marko Nikolic, is said to highly value the player's profile and to have communicated this to the club's management. It is reported that AEK has already contacted the board of Ludogorets to begin negotiations for the winger, whose contract is valid until 2028. Ludogorets is reportedly open to Tekpetey's departure, but the club is demanding a fee of approximately 5 million euros. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be 3 million euros. The management of AEK is expected to take action before the transfer period begins. Tekpetey joined his current club in July 2021 and has been capped twice by the Ghanaian national team. In the 2025/2026 season, he has scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists in 19 domestic league appearances.
