Berke Özer leaving Eyüpspor?
Eyüpspor's Vice President, Fatih Kulaksız, mentioned that numerous discussions had taken place regarding Berke Özer's transfer. While a formal offer that would meet Eyüpspor's expectations was anticipated, it had yet to be received. The club had set their expectations at 10 million euros. One contributing factor to not receiving the desired offer was the limited exposure of the Turkish Süper Lig in the Wise Scout program. Since Fenerbahçe owns a 40% stake in Berke Özer's transfer, any transfer fee would need to be shared with them. Offers made through agents attempting to circumvent this arrangement were turned down by Eyüpspor. At present, there is no satisfactory offer, and the transfer is not expected to proceed. Berke Özer remains with Eyüpspor.
KRC Genk has shown interest in Berke Özer and was willing to offer 6 million euros for him.
There have been offers for Berke Özer from European clubs through agents, though no official offers have been made. Eyüpspor values Berke at 10 million euros and is open to negotiations.
