Manuel Benson Transfer from Burnley to Maccabi Haifa

On Thursday, Burnley announced on its website that it is recalling Manuel Benson from Swansea, and the club stated that it has reached an agreement to sell the winger to Israeli club Maccabi Haifa.

Angolan international Manuel Benson, 28, is expected to end his loan at Swansea City and is set to join Israeli team Maccabi Haifa. Swansea City boss Vitor Matos confirmed that Benson is close to leaving this month, explaining that the player had received permission from his parent club to speak with other teams. Matos added that nothing was finished or announced at the time and that there was nothing official to add. The winger has made 6 appearances for Swansea City in the Championship this season without scoring, and his contract at parent club Burnley FC expires in June 2027. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €3.00m.
