Wieczysta Kraków was interested in signing Polish attacking midfielder Bartosz Wolski, the captain of Motor Lublin, during the winter transfer window. Sławomir Peszko, who works in the club's sporting department, confirmed in an interview with Meczyki.pl that the club had considered the player. The 28-year-old was not persuaded to join and extended his contract with Motor Lublin instead. Wolski had also been close to a transfer to GKS Katowice during the winter, and Widzew Łódź had previously sought his services.
