Bartosz Bida, a 24-year-old former Polish youth international, has joined Unia Skierniewice as a free agent. The contract was signed following a three-week trial period where Bida convinced the club's coaching staff and officials to offer him a permanent deal. This move ends a period of unemployment for Bida that began at the end of last year after he left Miedź Legnica. During his time with Miedź, he was loaned to Stal Stalowa Wola and later played only for the club's third-division reserves. Bida was previously considered a major talent at Jagiellonia Białystok, and his promising entry into the Ekstraklasa reportedly attracted interest from foreign clubs. He now joins Unia Skierniewice as the team challenges for promotion to the I liga.
