He said that if a player gets a significant opportunity for their career and the terms are right for Falkirk, they will consider it, adding that at this moment in time, Falkirk are not looking to sell anyone and hope not to receive any offers in the summer.

John McGlynn said it would not be a surprise to him if interest in Barney Stewart emerges this summer. McGlynn also said the club is in no rush to sell him, claiming Stewart's value will be significantly higher with a full top-flight season as a Bairn. McGlynn added that they do not need to sell anyone.

Coll Donaldson laughed off a claim that a transfer for Barney Stewart to Hibs is a done deal, insisting Stewart has ambitions for something more significant. Ewen Cameron adamantly claimed a move to Hibs is imminent. Donaldson responded by asking if the deal was completed and finalized. Donaldson also stated that if Stewart joins Hibs, he would be absolutely devastated, adding that he thinks and hopes Stewart has ambitions for something bigger than Hibs.
