Bailey Cadamarteri Transfer from Sheffield Wednesday to Wrexham
Sheffield Wednesday's 20-year-old Jamaican international striker Bailey Cadamarteri is reportedly of interest to Wrexham, which is seeking to strengthen its attack. In the search for attacking reinforcements, Ipswich Town's Sammie Szmodics has also been named as a player of interest, and reports late last week claimed a bid had been submitted for Barnsley forward Davis Keillor-Dunn. Cadamarteri has four caps and one goal for Jamaica. He has scored two goals in 29 Championship appearances this season for the club he joined in January 2024. His contract runs until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €800k. Several other clubs, including Blackburn Rovers, Millwall, and Hibernian, have also been linked with the forward. In January 2026, Sheffield Wednesday's asking price was reportedly between €900,000 and €1,200,000. During that period, an offer of approximately €950,000 from Blackburn was said to have been rejected.
