Aris has reached a final agreement to sign Nigerian midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru from Watford. The 27-year-old midfielder is expected to sign a three-year contract. The club confirmed the deal is complete following a period of discussions in which they expressed strong interest in the player, who operates as a number 6. Dele-Bashiru is set to arrive in Thessaloniki to strengthen the team's midfield. He was under contract with Watford until 2027, but Aris secured a positive response from him to finalize the move. The player was on loan at Genclerbirligi Ankara in the Turkish Süper Lig for the 2025/2026 season, where he made 28 appearances and provided one assist. Dele-Bashiru has been capped once by Nigeria's U23 team. His current market value is €1.80m, according to Transfermarkt.
