According to Kicker, Mainz have made approaches for Aurele Amenda, but these clubs have not made concrete advances to Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche, potentially going via the player’s representatives instead. Markus Krösche has refused to let him leave and has rejected approaches from other clubs.

Mainz is one of several clubs interested in the centre-back. Lorient, Torino, Nice, and Valencia are also interested in the player, while Celtic have also been linked. Amenda, who has four international caps, joined Frankfurt from Young Boys in January 2024 for a reported fee of €9.5 million and has a contract with the club until June 2029. A move to Torino in August 2025 reportedly fell through despite a proposed fee of around €9-11 million. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €6.00m.
