Asier Villalibre Transfer from Deportivo Alavés to Almería
Marca has reported on the potential departure of Asier Villalibre from Alavés, indicating that he is likely to leave the club in the coming weeks. Although Villalibre has a contract with Alavés until 2028, it appears he will exit through a loan. Almería is among the clubs that have shown interest in his current situation. Having not met expectations at Alavés and only appearing in 16 matches last season, Villalibre is considered surplus to requirements by coach Eduardo Coudet. The club has decided to allow him to choose his next destination, recognizing his professional behavior and past contributions, particularly during their promotion to Primera. In addition to Almería, Racing, Zaragoza, and Deportivo have also shown interest in acquiring him. Despite having the chance to leave during the winter transfer window, Villalibre chose to remain, hoping for a positive change that did not occur. Now, with the understanding that he requires more playing time, a move to Segunda seems imminent.
