Kasımpaşa, a Turkish club, made a transfer request to Ukrainian Premier League club Metallist 1925 for 33-year-old centre-back Artem Shabanov. The club was prepared to pay 500 thousand euros for the Ukrainian player, whose value is estimated by the web portal Transfermarkt to be 250 thousand euros, but Metallist 1925 declined to sell him. Shabanov has two caps for Ukraine and joined Metalist in July 2025; his contract is set to expire in June 2026. He has made 15 appearances in the Premier Liga this season.
