A Premier League giant has officially shown interest in 23-year-old Ukrainian centre-back Arseniy Batagov. Trabzonspor manager Fatih Tekke questioned who would want to give their good players and whether this would be done voluntarily. He stated that if there is a benefit for Trabzonspor, there is a benefit for him, adding that they all left and anyone can leave. Batagov, who joined the Turkish club in August 2024, is under contract until June 2028 and has a current market value of €9.00m according to Transfermarkt. In the current 2025/2026 Süper Lig season, he has made 18 appearances and provided 2 assists. The defender has also been capped 39 times for the Ukraine U21 national team, scoring 3 goals. Several European clubs, including Benfica, Napoli, and Lazio, have also been linked with him.
