The transfer of Arnaud Bodart to Le Havre has been made official. The Belgian goalkeeper, who had terminated his contract with Lille, signed a contract with Le Havre until June of the following year. This transfer occurred after Lionel Mpasi sustained a complete rupture of the Achilles tendon, which will keep him out for the entire season. Bodart will support Gauthier Gallon, who joined Le Havre at the end of August to replace Mory Diaw.

According to Walfoot, Arnaud Bodart is now officially a player for Le Havre. The goalkeeper joins the Ligue 1 club from LOSC. The transfer follows the serious injury to Lionel Mpasi, who suffered a rupture of the Achilles tendon. Bodart signed a one-year contract. He terminated his contract with LOSC and arrives at Le Havre on a free transfer, where he will wear the number 16.

According to L'Équipe, the officialization of Arnaud Bodart's transfer to Le Havre is pending. His arrival was not yet official the day before the match against Angers. Le Havre and Arnaud Bodart reached an agreement on Friday, but the officialization is awaiting the necessary approval of the LFP legal commission. Lille released Arnaud Bodart from the last ten months of his contract, and he will not arrive at Le Havre as the first-choice keeper.

Arnaud Bodart, a 28-year-old who had been sidelined at Lille, is set to sign with Le Havre. An agreement has been reached between the Belgian goalkeeper and the French club, which is utilizing a 'medical joker' transfer to make a signing outside the window. The move was prompted by an injury to Le Havre's first-choice keeper, Lionel Mpasi, last weekend. Bodart had previously been linked with a return to the Jupiler Pro League with clubs such as La Louvière and STVV, but those transfers did not happen. The deal is now contingent on a medical examination scheduled for the afternoon. The uncapped Belgian joined Lille in July 2025 and has a contract until 2027. His current market value is €1.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
