Real Mallorca has initiated contacts and started negotiations with Villarreal for the 25-year-old Spanish goalkeeper Arnau Tenas. The player has been chosen by the current Real Mallorca coach, Luis García Fernández. The sporting management of Mallorca, which is led by Pablo Ortells, is working on a loan with a mandatory purchase option in case of promotion to Primera División. Both clubs are also considering other formulas to complete the transfer. Tenas joined Villarreal in August 2025 and made 10 appearances in LaLiga for the 2025/2026 season. His contract is valid until 2029. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €4.00m. Tenas has not yet been capped by the Spanish national team.
