His agent, Roberto Meloni, indicated that Napoli did not make any inquiries in January since the club had different priorities at the time, and Sassuolo also had its own goals. Nevertheless, Napoli has consistently shown interest, and Laurienté is fond of the idea of moving there. Meloni estimated the transfer fee to be between 15 and 20 million euros, which is based on previous offers that Sassuolo had declined. Despite Sassuolo's relegation, Laurienté is deemed ready for a top-tier team.
