According to ESPN, NEC is close to finalizing a loan deal with FC Dordrecht for Argyris Darelas. Darelas is a 22-year-old Greek youth international who has been capped nine times for the Greece U21 team. He joined NEC from PAOK Saloniki in the summer of 2024 and will finish the season in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie to gain experience. Darelas has made six appearances for NEC's first team and has also scored three goals in three appearances for NEC's U21 side in the current season. The final paperwork is currently being arranged, with the transfer expected to become official next week. It is understood that the agreement does not include a purchase option for FC Dordrecht. The player's contract with NEC expires at the end of this season, but the club has an option for two additional seasons. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €150k.
