Apostolos Konstantopoulos Transfer from Beerschot-Wilrijk to Raków Częstochowa
Apostolos Konstantopoulos has signed with Raków Częstochowa, committing to a contract that extends until June 30, 2028, with an option for an additional year. The deal was completed without a transfer fee. The Greek central defender previously played for Beerschot in Belgium, following his transfer from Panetolikos in 2021 for 700,000 euros. During his tenure at Beerschot, he appeared in 97 matches and participated in Greek national teams at the U-16, U-17, and U-21 levels. This move to Raków Częstochowa is the club's third new acquisition, after Lamine Diaby-Fadiga and Karol Struski. Artur Płatek, the club's sports affairs advisor, noted that Konstantopoulos aligns with the team's specific profile and is anticipated to develop further, becoming a significant asset once acclimated. Raków, under the guidance of coach Marek Papszun, is preparing to compete in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers.
