According to information gathered by TMW, Como has made a particularly insistent move in the last few days, as their coach Cesc Fabregas is an admirer of Vergara. The main point of disagreement in a potential deal between Como and Napoli is the transfer formula; Napoli prefers a simple loan, while Como wants to include an option or obligation to buy. Vergara's agent, Mario Giuffredi, recently stated his belief that it is best for a young player to find a club where he can play with continuity in order to improve. Vergara, who has been capped at the U20 level for Italy, has made two appearances for Napoli in Serie A this season.
