He is joining on loan from the Italian club Venezia until the end of the season, with a purchase option included. The player will undergo a medical examination and sign his contract at the Mareo sports city before an official announcement is made. Casas joins Sporting after one season in Italy where he played a secondary role in Venezia's promotion to Serie A, and his arrival is expected to initially complete the squad. His contract with Venezia is valid until 2028 and he has a current market value of €650k, according to Transfermarkt. Casas has one cap for the Spain U19 national team and was also linked with Catanzaro and Las Palmas.
