Antonio Candela Transfer from Venezia to Spezia

According to Tuttomercato, Antonio Candela is set to return to Spezia Calcio on a temporary transfer that includes an obligation to buy. This move signifies a homecoming to the club where he started his professional journey. The transfer has been positively received by both clubs. Candela's career has seen him play for several teams, including Genoa, Trapani, Olbia, Pergolettese, Cesena, and notably Venezia, where he played a significant role in their promotion to Serie A. Last season, he also had a stint in Spain with Valladolid. Renowned for his versatility and endurance, Candela will don jersey number 23 at Spezia Calcio under the guidance of coach Luca D'Angelo.

Tuttomercato reported that Spezia is interested in signing Italian defender Antonio Candela from Venezia. The report indicated that Spezia has shown a strong interest in Candela, who is currently on an international tour with Venezia in Belgium and France. Spezia has reportedly made a decisive move, and it appears that everything is set for Candela to sign a three-year contract. The signing is expected to take place on Monday. Candela, born in 2000, previously spent a season on loan with Real Valladolid in Spain after beginning the season with Venezia. His contract with Venezia is valid until June 2027, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €1.80m.
