Samsunspor President Yüksel Yıldırım contacted Galatasaray with a proposal for Anthony Musaba, after Fenerbahçe reached an agreement with the player. The president informed Galatasaray that if they could agree on terms with Musaba, Samsunspor would sell him for a price lower than his release clause. This offer came after Yıldırım accused Fenerbahçe of being disrespectful for attempting to sign the player by activating his release clause without first speaking to the club. It is not currently known if Galatasaray will attempt to sign the player. Samsunspor confirmed that disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against him.
