Various reports over recent months have linked Göztepe's 22-year-old Nigerian midfielder, Anthony Dennis, to several clubs in England, including Leeds United, Southampton, and Coventry City. Clubs from Germany, Spain, and Turkey, including Stuttgart, Villarreal, Beşiktaş, and Galatasaray, are also reportedly monitoring him. Anderlecht has a long-standing interest in Dennis and made an unsuccessful bid of approximately €3.3 million in June 2025. Dennis is under contract with Göztepe until 2027. The club reportedly now values him at approximately €8 million, and it is thought a transfer could cost close to €10 million. The midfielder joined Göztepe in July 2023 and his current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €8.00m.
