Voetbalnieuws.be reported that Anouar Ait El Hadj himself sought a transfer, but a move did not materialize despite offers from Houston Dynamo.

According to Nieuwsblad, Houston Dynamo were interested in Anouar Ait El Hadj. Houston Dynamo are current second in the Western Conference of MLS. The player reportedly passed his medical tests to join Houston. However, the deal was not completed at the last moment as the transfer window in the United States closed, and the move did not happen.

An agreement had been reached between Union SG and Houston Dynamo for the transfer of winger Anouar Aït El Hadj, who had passed his medical examination. The deal was not finalized due to a financial disagreement between the player and Houston over the proposed personal terms. As a result, El Hadj will now remain at Union SG, where the attacking midfielder has a contract until 2028.
