Panathinaikos plans to fully acquire the rights of Andreas Tetteh and to extend and financially upgrade his contract. Tetteh is a 25-year-old Greek international centre-forward who has been capped nine times for Greece. He joined the club in January 2026 from Kifisia for a reported €2.2 million and has a contract until 2029. His current Transfermarkt market value is €6.00m. This plan follows interest from several clubs, including Hull City, Benfica, VfL Wolfsburg, and Eintracht Frankfurt. In late August 2026, Panathinaikos reportedly rejected a €25 million bid from a Premier League team and a separate €25 million offer from Hull City. Reports in September suggested the club's minimum asking price is €25 million.
