According to Record Sport, he is considered a potential signing for Aberdeen. The 19-year-old Scottish attacker impressed during a 3-0 Scottish Cup win against the Dons and could be targeted to reduce the goalscoring responsibility of Kevin Nisbet, on the condition that Aberdeen is prepared to pay a fee for him. Tod joined Dunfermline in July 2022 and his contract runs until May 2028. He has been capped three times for the Scotland U21 national team.
