Mundo Deportivo reports that Andrés García has been presented as a new player for Getafe. García moved to Aston Villa in the winter transfer market of 2025 and is now on loan to Getafe for one season.

According to an official statement from Getafe C.F., the club and Aston Villa F.C. have reached an agreement for the loan transfer of Andres Garcia until the end of the current season. The Spanish right-back, born in 2003, joins Getafe to strengthen the defensive department.

Aston Villa has confirmed that Andrés García has joined Getafe on a season-long loan for the 2026-27 campaign.

Spanish right-back Andrés García, 23, is nearing the completion of his loan move to Getafe after an agreement was reached with Aston Villa. The former Spain U21 international joined Villa in January 2025 and has a contract until 2029. In the 2025/2026 season, he made 13 Premier League appearances, after a spell in LaLiga2 where he scored 4 goals and provided 6 assists in 47 games. His current Transfermarkt market value is €6.00m. Several other clubs, including Valencia and Olympique Lyonnais, have also been linked with the player.
