Andrés Fernández Transfer from Levante to Almería

Mundo Deportivo has reported that Andrés Fernández has signed with Almería for the next two seasons. He joins the team as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Levante. The club from Almería made the announcement about this transfer. Fernández, who is 38 years old, has played over 500 matches across 18 seasons at the top level. He comes to Almería after having secured the LALIGAHYPERMOTION title with Levante, where he played nearly every match except for the last one, which was after the team had already ensured promotion. Fernández brings experience from top European competitions, having made his Champions League debut with Porto and competed in the Europa League with Villarreal CF. In addition, he won the Trofeo Zamora in 2011 with SD Huesca. Returning to Almería is particularly meaningful for Fernández, as he made his professional debut there on October 21, 2007, during a match at the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterráneos while he was part of Osasuna's Promesas team.
