Oțelul Galați has shown interest in Andrei Șucu, a 17-year-old Romanian attacking midfielder, after comments from Daniel Pancu, Rapid's coach, suggested the player is not yet ready for the first league. Cristi Munteanu, the president of Oțelul, stated that the club would welcome Șucu if Rapid is unable to offer him playing minutes. Munteanu added that his club requires an 'under' player. Șucu became a player for FC Rapid 1923 U18 in July 2024, and his current market value on Transfermarkt is €50K.
